Everyone makes such a huge deal out of depression these days because society says that if we're not completely successful and perfect, then we are ultimate failures. What happened to the days when egos were smaller and people were content with their lives? I think today people toss around the word depression almost like an adult form of puberty, but realize this had never existed on such a level before. People need to be accountable and need to man up vs this "depression" creature. Stick to your values and be proud, then depression won't be a problem and you don't have to be perfect to be ok, either.
